Skincare Routine: Libby

We all love a good skincare routine or at least buying products in hope that we will actually develop one. This is my 7 step routine that I totally do every single morning and night. Never fail. Always do it. For real. Here we go. My skin is perfect and I’m telling you that you need to follow my routine.

Follow these totally cheap and simple steps!

Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser

This is by far my favorite cleanser because it is the only one I currently own. So good! You can use it in the shower or on your dry face to gently remove dirt from your face when you just casually rolled around in it to get a good insta. This is clear so doesn’t show up well in pics (unfortunate tbh) and it doesn’t foam. You just pump it out and rub around your face until you get paranoid that the thing from the grudge is standing outside your shower. Rinse and get on with it!

 Pixi Glow Tonic

I prefer to shake the bottle up before I squirt some on a cotton pad and rub around my face. I don’t know if you need to shake it but I always do for some reason. The internet told me to get this and to be fair, I do genuinely feel a difference on my skin after. Not joking, it feels a little softer. Toner is an oft-overlooked step in the skincare routine, but it’s meant to restore your skin’s pH before serums and other random shit. But it’s cool, and they sell it at Target!

Aveeno Targeted Tone Corrector

SInce I’m actually translucent with a pink-tinge, I get dark spots and discoloration very easily. I was recommended this to help even out skin tone. Does this work? I don’t know tbh. Do I still use it as my “face serum”? Yes, yes I do.

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion

This is the best zit cream ever. Unlike the Glow Tonic, DO NOT SHAKE THIS. Appreciate the aesthetic of the separated layers. To use this you must dip a Q-tip all the way into the pink sediment at the bottom and then you just dab on them haters. I mean zits. Is that still a cool phrase? Can we use it ironically now? Lmk in the comments please and thank you.

Tony Moly Panda’s Dream Brightening Eye Base

I bought this because of the packaging. It’s so freaking cute! A little panda! So smol! I use it under my eyes and gently dab (*dab*) in it. I’m perpetually afraid of signs of aging, so I’ve been using anti-aging stuff since I was 13, I don’t think it worked very well.

Aveeno Daily Moisturizer

Without fail, I put this on every single morning. It has SPF in it, which because of aforementioned translucent skin, I need (and so do you). My skin is also dry AF, so I use this to not scare everyone with my skin flakes, little fun dandruff for my contour to deal with! SPF is really important and that’s the main reason I use this stuff. Also, the packaging pump thing can be locked so it doesn’t spill everywhere.

Avéne Thermal Spring Water

I use this to look fancy pulling out of my purse like I really need a ~refreshing~ spritz after I step out of my coach seat on a domestic flight. Truly. Really. I got this in Paris so a lot of stuff on the bottle is in French! I’m so worldly and trendy!
